- What areas can be treated?
The most common treatment areas for reducing the appearance of wrinkles are crow’s feet (lines around the outer eyes), frown lines (between the eyes) and the forehead. Other areas including “bunny lines” (lines on the nose), jawline, chin and neck may also be treated.
Treatment can also be used to stop excessive sweating. Furthermore, treatment to relax the muscle called masseters, to stop grinding of the teeth.
- How long does the treatment last?
The effects can last up to three months; however, this may vary from person to person. As effects are only temporary, a repeat treatment will be required to maintain results.
- How long will it take for the treatment to work.
You will start to see improvement withing 2-3 days, with maximum full effect 14 days after treatment.

To enhance your lips, Aesthetic Nurse Joanna will insert into your lips a gel made from a sugar molecule that naturally occurs in the body. This molecule binds water and acts as a lubricant within the body, whilst also regulating your skin’s water balance. Once the gel is placed beneath your skin, this naturally occurring substance can add or restore volume, correct asymmetry, enhance the lip line, smooth lip wrinkles, add hydration and help shape your pout. During your consultation, Aesthetic Nurse will sit down with you to discuss your lip goals and develop a personalised treatment plan for you.
Optimise your results!
Your lip volume results can be seen immediately; however, it is important to understand that your lips will be swollen, and your lasting results will appear as swelling subsides. This enhancement treatment to your lips will last for 6-12 months, sometimes longer depending on your unique metabolic rates.
To help reduce any swelling or bruising, we recommend adding a LED Rejuvenate treatment and using an ice pack.

- Does lip enhancement hurt?
Discomfort will vary depending on the individual. You will feel a slight pinch, and you may experience slight pressure or a ‘stinging’ sensation as the product enters into your lips. Slight bruising and bleeding may occur. For your comfort, you can choose to have your lips numbed with topical numbing cream and this is highly recommended for your first time.
