Our Commitment to You
At Beautyologist, we are always thinking about our clients and how we can provide the best possible experience for everyone. To ensure fairness, consistency, and a calm, professional environment, we have a few important policies in place. These allow our business to run smoothly and ensure that every client receives the time, care, and treatment they deserve.

Appointment Times – Please Arrive on Time
We kindly ask that you arrive on time or up to 5 minutes early for your appointment. This ensures you receive the full duration of your treatment and allows us to stay on schedule for all clients. Just as you wouldn’t want to be kept waiting, we are unable to delay other appointments.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time.
Cancellation & Booking Policy
As a small business, last-minute cancellations significantly impact our team and our ability to operate sustainably. Our booking policy exists to protect our therapists’ time and ensure fairness to all clients.
- A $65 booking fee is required to secure all appointments over 30 minutes
- Cancellations, reschedules within 48 hours or no-shows will result in forfeiture of the booking fee
- If you are unable to attend within 48 hours, you may send a friend or family member to take your appointment
- If availability allows, we may be able to move your appointment later the same day
- Messages left on Sundays, or public holidays are considered received the next business day
We understand that sometimes things can’t be helped, however repeated late cancellations affect availability for other clients and our highly trained therapists.
You will receive an SMS confirmation prior to your appointment — please reply Y or N and ensure the appointment is diarised.
Respect & Mindfulness
We are committed to providing a calm, supportive environment for both clients and staff. Abusive or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances. We ask for kindness, patience, and always understanding.
Security & Payments
- Gift voucher numbers are used to secure appointments
- We do not store credit card details on file
Independent Contractors
Some services at Beautyologist are performed by independent contractors who specialise in specific treatments. Due to this, Beautyologist gift vouchers cannot be used for contractor services.
Health & Safe Practices
Your safety and wellbeing are our priority. We follow all current Public Health Directives and ask that clients do the same.
Please help us by:
- Arriving on time and alone
- Checking in at the front of the clinic
To support relaxation and healing, we kindly ask that conversations around world affairs be avoided during your visit.
Beauty Miles / Treat Card Loyalty Program
- Points can be earned in-store only (not online)
- Points do not expire.
- Points are not be transferred.
- One redemption per transaction.
- Gifts can not be changed.
- Must be used with one Full priced facial or body massage.
- Not with any other offer.
- Can not be refunded for money.
Returns & Exchanges
- Exchanges accepted within 14 days with receipt and items in resale condition
- Refunds are available only on faulty products, returned within 14 days for assessment
Online Orders & Acceptance
Order confirmation emails acknowledge receipt only. Acceptance occurs once your order has been dispatched. Beautyologist reserves the right to refuse or limit orders if required.
All sales are governed under Victorian, Australian law.
Shipping & Collection
- Choose shipping or in-store pickup at checkout
- Orders are not shipped on Victorian or Australian public holidays
- Please allow 5–7 business days for delivery
- Delivery is managed by Australia Post and is subject to their conditions
Gift wrapping is complimentary — please advise which items require wrapping.
Terms for Referral Program
- $25 Gift Cards can be used towards any Full priced Facial or Body Massage.
- One per treatment
