During this session you will be required to fill out a consultation card which will assist us with any contraindications for this treatment. Once approved we will expertly advise you on the amount of sessions and the price. These sessions take 20mins.

Can I have my tattoo removed?
We have a very strict duty of care to ensure a safe and effective treatment for all our guests.
We require a medical certificate from your Dr letting us know that there are no skin cancers present on the treated area. This is for your safety.
Pregnant or breastfeeding? You need to sit this one out as there has been no evidence, therefore we will not treat.
Medication? Some medications can cause skin sensitivity. Please check with your Doctor prior to your appointment.
Sun exposure on the treating area 4 weeks prior to treatment can result in hypo-pigmentation and an inactive treatment. Absolutely no tan including self tanners for at least 4 weeks prior to treatment.
Not recommended for clients who keloid scar.
Is the treatment uncomfortable?
The treatment is uncomfortable however most treatments only last 30 – 60seconds. The feeling is comparable to a tattoo and the pain is short lived!
We use ice packs to reduce the discomfort during and after the treatment. Ice packs will assist with minimising the pain and swelling.
If you feel you need more pain relief, then you can apply numbing cream 30mins before your treatment. Follow the instructions by your pharmacist and cover the saturated area with gladwrap.
How many treatments are recommended?
We suggest start with 3 treatments, which will give a great indication. There are many factors that influence the amount of sessions such as size, age, colour and clients health.
Normally 5 – 10 sessions will remove a professional tattoo, less if the tattoo was applied by an amateur.
Will treatments remove colours?
Darker colours will respond faster such as black, lighter will take a little longer. Yellow ink will lighten however not completely go.
Can I get a tattoo over the same area?
Yes you can, you just need to wait for the wounds to heal, approximately 14 weeks.
When should I book my next treatment?
The body requires 28 days to heal and remove ink from the skin. We therefore recommend 8 weeks between appointments.
Can I scar?
To avoid scarring you must follow our pre and post care instructions. If you are prone to keloid scarring, this treatment is not for you.
Tattoo areas will look whitened and raised straight after treatment. This is a normal reaction. It will settle back within approx. 30mins. You may have slight swelling, welting or even bruising, however this will settle.
The tattooed area may blister or scab. Do not pick or break the blisters and keep them dressed.
The tattoo ink will start to fade and can look dirty up to 3 weeks after treatment.
We will apply a healing cream over the treated area and dress the area after your treatment. Please keep the area dressed and away from water for about 3 days.
Apply the recommended healing cream by your therapist and also dress the area.
Any signs of infection, please see your GP immediately and let us know. There is nothing we use that will touch the skin and cause infection however our bodies respond differently. For you and your Doctors information we use all sterile bandages, gloves, swabs and healing creams.
Scabs will eventually fall off or disappear, leaving new less pigmented skin.
Strict avoidance of sun is very important to avoid scaring after treatment. Wear nothing less than 30+.
Do not use sauna, spa, swimming pool or anything that involves chemicals or excessive heat for at least 1 week after treatment.
Pat dry very carefully after showering with a soft towel, do not rub.
Cooler showers for the first week after treatment.
Avoid gym for about 48hrs.
Wear loose clothing to avoid friction on treated area.
